WHAT IS SUMMER INSTITUTE?

Summer Institute is an award-winning 6-week summer program where participants explore their own leadership skills and build a strong community with other Nashers…because at Sadie Nash we believe that all young women and gender-expansive youth are leaders NOW!

EACH WEEK NASHERS:

  • Participate in workshops about identity, social justice, leadership, and other topics to foster critical thinking and a sense of community

  • Meet accomplished women and gender-expansive leaders like elected officials, business owners, and artists to make connections and learn about how they got to where they are

  • Attend field trips that enrich learning, build community, and create joy!

Nashers walk away from Summer Institute equipped with tools to transform their lives, their communities, and their world.

What Do Nashers Say About It?

“SNLP helped me find myself. There are people that want to listen to me here. I came to America from Nigeria last April, and people accept me for who I am here. I used to be afraid that I would be laughed at for my accent, but Nashers compliment me on it and ask me to teach it to them. Sadie Nash is a place for me.”
